Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in commercial building operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and communicative professional capable of ensuring optimal functioning of building systems and responding efficiently to tenant needs.

Focus:

• Conduct regular maintenance and operational checks of all building systems and equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities and equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure compliance with all local and regional licensing requirements for building operations.
• Engage in on-call support, including after-hours, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed.
• Utilize basic computer skills to maintain accurate records of maintenance work.
• Communicate effectively with building occupants, providing high-quality service and timely problem resolution.
• Safely operate vehicles and handle heavy equipment; lifting requirements up to 100 lbs.
• Perform tasks requiring physical activity, including ladder work, handling overhead tasks, and exposure to various environmental conditions

Skill Set:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in commercial building operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Valid certifications for building operation as required by local or regional authorities.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare facility maintenance
• Universal CFC, SMA, SMT, LEED, or equivalent credentials in environmentally responsible practices and sustainable technologies
