They are hiring a Logistics Manager to supervise the Delivery staff and work in close cooperation with the Regional Operations Supervisor.
The Logistics Manager will manage day-to-day operations, administration of the fleet, ensuring DOT conformity, and provide support in managing regional drivers.

Focus:
Guarantee the operational ability, registration, insurance, and maintenance of delivery trucks; supervise mileage to ensure compliance with leased vehicle agreements.
Participate in route mapping and truck monitoring, as required; aid in forecasting potential routing and delivery obstacles based on fleet attributes. Ensure that fleet-related problems are conveyed to other departments, as necessary; encourage and sustain collaborative communication and workflows with other teams and departments, especially those in Accounts Receivable, Procurement Control, Receiving, Sales, Sales Support, and Shipping. Originate and guide vehicle safety campaigns, host safety conferences regularly. Communicate specific and clear company and individual objectives with employees. Coach and develop team to reach professional development goals. Develop and drive operational processes for employees.
Lead operations to ensure compliance with all standards including environmental, operating, regulatory, safety, and ethics.
Skill Set:
3-5+ years of experience in logistics management. Proficient in managing projects with proven experience in leading teams.
Keen attention to detail, combined with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Expertise in logistics and deliveries, including the ability to adapt to new workflows and procedures. Demonstrated ability to think quickly and proactively when faced with problems, with a solutions-oriented approach to work. Skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. Experienced in working effectively as part of a diverse team, with previous team leadership experience.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours. Experience using fleet/logistics management platforms such as Geotab and SunTerra, as well as Cold Chain temperature monitoring, is preferred. Available for on-call duties in emergency situations. Clear criminal background check. Valid DOT license in excellent standing. Experience using the full MS Office Suite.
Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred. Professional experience in the food industry is preferred. Proven track record in compliance, including expertise in quality standards/GMP.
