In this essential position, you will play a fundamental role as a key member of a specialized team with a core mission to protect the rights and interests of automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers. Your adept handling of warranty actions will be crucial in achieving this objective. Leveraging your profound expertise in civil litigation and automotive warranty defense, you will contribute to the resolution of complex legal challenges in alignment with our client’s commitment to excellence.

Focus:

Collaborate seamlessly within a team to strategize and execute legal defense for automotive manufacturers, distributors, and dealers entangled in warranty actions. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and other relevant regulations, applying this knowledge to craft effective defense strategies. Demonstrate adeptness in trial and arbitration preparation, including courtroom experience, motion practice, deposition, and mediation. Employ your exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills to present compelling arguments and ensure favorable outcomes for our clients.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple cases, ensuring accurate and timely submission of legal documents. Uphold our client’s values by upholding strong ethical standards and contributing to a cohesive and collaborative team environment.

Skill Set

Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the California State Bar.

A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in civil litigation, particularly in the realm of automobile warranty defense. Proficiency in California warranty laws, especially the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, coupled with a track record of successfully applying these laws in litigation scenarios. Proven experience in trial and arbitration preparation, encompassing motion practice, deposition, and mediation. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, enabling the creation of compelling legal arguments and effective client communication. A demonstrated commitment to maintaining strong ethical standards and upholding the highest levels of professionalism.

Solid academic credentials from a reputable law school, reinforcing your legal acumen. Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a demanding caseload. A strong work ethic, combined with a collaborative mindset and the capability to work effectively within a team.
