The Litigation Associate will play a pivotal role in our client’s legal team, contributing to the success of diverse projects with their substantial expertise in insurance defense litigation. They will collaborate with colleagues to provide innovative legal strategies that align with our client’s commitment to sustainable growth.

Focus:

Engage in trial preparation, including file management, evidence compilation, and strategy development. Represent clients in courtrooms, demonstrating seasoned experience in courtroom proceedings and an acute understanding of legal strategies. Conduct thorough legal research and contribute to the development of compelling arguments and case strategies. Exhibit exceptional negotiation skills, aiming to secure favorable outcomes for clients.

Craft clear, concise, and impactful legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive legal approach aligned with project objectives. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Skill Set

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation. Proven trial experience, showcasing a robust understanding of trial procedures, protocols, and courtroom etiquette. Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong negotiation acumen and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes effectively.

Impeccable organizational skills and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining meticulous records. A strong work ethic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering productive working relationships both internally and externally. Current license to practice law in the state of Texas.
