Lighting Specification Sales
Location: Remote – West Coast USA
Overview:
Join a leading innovator in architectural lighting solutions, renowned for delivering high-quality, design-centric products that transform spaces. We are seeking a high-energy sales expert to champion our products and drive adoption across the Western US. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to break into the architectural lighting industry and grow into a future regional sales leadership role. Candidates must reside within the West Coast territory to support key accounts and agency partners in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, lighting designers, landscape architects, and electrical engineers to promote lighting solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and educational sessions to increase brand awareness and product specifications.
• Collaborate with independent sales representatives to support their efforts in driving product specifications and achieving sales targets.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to showcase products and build market presence.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the specification process, ensuring product suitability and compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and inform strategic planning.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• You should have at least 2 years under your belt selling lighting solutions for buildings or in a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of the lighting specification process and experience working with design professionals.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be located in the West Coast territory in order to be considered.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (approximately 50%).
