Our client is a top lighting company, with over 50 years in successful business growth. They are looking to hire Lighting Specification Sales with a focus on long-term relationship building, meeting sales goals, and providing in-depth product knowledge.
This role will be instrumental in growing the business and enhancing profitability. The ideal candidate will be someone passionate about understanding customer needs, proactive in presenting solutions, and adept at collaborating with various internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Engage and cultivate relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying lighting specifications to align with unique project needs. Consistently strive to meet or exceed designated sales targets, engaging in daily client outreach and weekly tailored product demonstrations. Exercise financial acumen in balancing sales achievements with controlled expenditure, adhering to organizational strategies. Collaborate actively with internal teams and external partners to deepen understanding and mastery in the diverse field of lighting and associated products.
Oversee various aspects of client service, ranging from order initiation to part replacement, possibly encompassing diverse elements of project coordination. Exhibit robust interpersonal prowess and sales expertise, with a firm emphasis on outcomes and order acquisition. Flourish in a team-oriented setting, demonstrating a keen passion for collective achievement and peer support. Collaborate with all internal departments to ensure client experience is supported and seamless. Execute other responsibilities as directed by management, reflecting versatility and excellence in a multi-faceted sales environment.
Educational background and/or certification(s) in Lighting. 3+ years of industry-related experience, preferred. Demonstrated capacity to create and present client-centric presentations with a professional approach.
In-depth understanding of and experience using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32. Proven history in a B2B sales environment with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales growth objectives. Experience in crafting project quotations, reflecting a nuanced understanding of the complete sales process. Demonstrated computer literacy with competence in standard office applications (i.e., MS Office Suite) and web search tools. Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a commendable driving record are required.
Balanced blend of communication skills and sales ability, indicative of a strong capability for collaborative teamwork and mutual organizational success.
