Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their growing, talented team. The Lighting Project Manager will lead the developmental process, act as a liaison with external vendors, and take ownership of planning, scheduling, and problem solving throughout the project life cycle.

Focus:
• Manage all facets of a project management, including submittals, order entry, shop drawings, required to release, release, regular status reports, logistics management, billing and requisitions, and collections.
• Serve as the primary liaison with client’s construction team and manufacturers.
• Partner with clients to ensure construction schedule adherence, identify and resolve problems proactively, and escalate concerns to the Senior Project Manager team when necessary.
• Coordinate scope, product approval, storage and/or delivery requirements, and construction schedule.
• Own the developmental process by managing project planning and reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
• Create, file, and distribute status reports, tracking charts, change orders, and logs for all jobs.
• Field returns for damaged, defective, and/or incorrect materials and handle customer back charges and conflict resolution.
• Attend all Kickoff meetings, regular job site visits, and send regular status reports to customers.
• Execute ad-hoc assignments as directed by senior management
Skill Set:
• 2+ years of project management experience in the lighting and/or construction industries.
• Possess strong time management, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and utilize these skills in a demanding, multi-tasking environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle various projects simultaneously, work effectively in a demanding environment, and be willing to surpass expectations.
• Thorough knowledge of the submittal process, vendor, and project management.
• Experience liaising with clients and internal departments in the resolution of problems to drive timely payments for products and services rendered.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, architectural sketches, and other related construction documents including detailed take-offs, and the ability to teach others.
• Proficient in software programs such as MS Office Suite, Google Drive/Sheets, and various Project Management tools.
• Knowledge of Oasis, On-Screen Takeoff, and Sage/MAS is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as analytical skills.
