Lighting Project Manager

Our client is a top lighting company, with over 50 years in successful business growth. They are hiring a Lighting Project Manager to help design, develop, and deliver lighting solutions to end customers.

The Lighting Project Manager will work with internal and external teams to develop solutions, review materials, create appraisals, negotiate deals, and close out projects. This professional will leverage their experience the industry to support the company’s profit goals.

Focus:

• Manage lighting projects from concept to closeout, to include design submissions, materials reviews, appraisal development, RFQs, deal negotiation, order entry, and close out.
• Design lighting solutions based on client specifications.
• Create proposals for client lighting projects including cost analysis, energy efficiency, and other strong value propositions.
• Quote materials needed for major projects and gather pricing from manufacturers/vendors.
• Work closely with sales team to provide excellent lighting design services to clients.

Skill Set:

• 2+ years of experience in the lighting industry.
• Background in project management with the ability to deliver and close on project proposals.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field a plus.
• Keen mathematical ability, to be able to deliver detailed and accurate appraisals and RFQs.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create buy in from others on big picture goals.
• Expertise in MS Office and other computer systems.
