JR. Food Technologist

Our client, a prominent leader in the food manufacturing sector, is seeking a proactive and dedicated Junior Food Technologist to help drive their product development process forward. As a Junior Food Technologist, you will support their Research and Development team in creating new food products and improving existing ones. You will apply your knowledge of food science and safety to ensure all products are delicious, safe, and comply with regulatory standards.

Focus:

• Assist in the development and testing of new food products.
• Conduct experiments and produce sample products, utilizing various kitchen equipment.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with government regulations.
• Implement and monitor food safety practices, including HACCP and SQF systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate food technology solutions.
• Manage product data through our ERP and inventory management systems.
• Document and analyze test results and report findings to senior technologists.

Skill Set:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management (WM) systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food science, and food safety regulations.
• Experience with HACCP and SQF protocols.
• Practical experience with kitchen equipment typically used in food research and development.
