Our client is a leading provider in the legal services space with over 40 years of successful growth. The company is on the verge of expansion and is looking to hire a Front-End Web Designer to revamp their website and enhance user experience. This role will be pivotal in enhancing the company’s digital presence, focusing on creating an optimized and engaging user experience.

The Front-End Web Designer will also be responsible for redesigning the company’s website, creating new templates, and working closely with the development team and Backend Engineers. They will focus on improving user experience and brand cohesion and will be deeply involved in the integration of various third-party features and functionalities.

Candidates must be able to work onsite in Lewes, DE.

Focus:

Lead the design and implementation of front-end solutions for the company’s website and associated digital platforms. Work closely with development teams and back-end engineers to create new templates and interfaces. Utilize a variety of technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, and iFrame.

Integrate various third-party features such as live chatbots, search functionality, client portals, e-payments, and subscriptions. Address branding issues and ensure brand cohesion from a website perspective. Optimize for heavy international traffic, including multi-lingual website translations. Solve branding issues from a website perspective and ensure user accessibility. Assist in the integration of SEO, Pay-per-click, and social media strategies.

Work on data in SQL and interact with backend code written in Java and ColdFusion.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field. 3-5 years of professional front-end web design experience, specifically for company websites.

Strong skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, and other relevant technologies. Experience with user accessibility and responsive/adaptive web design methodologies. Ability to work closely with development teams and Backend Engineers. Strong skills in team collaboration and communication. Must be able to work with teams and use feedback to the advantage of the final product’s optimization. A true passion for developing software and a desire to deliver the ultimate user experience.

Bilingual in Spanish, a plus.
