Our client is a fast-growing company created to assist cities and counties within their district in the creation and administration of PIDs and other varying needs. They act as the consulting interface between cities, counties, their respective real estate developers, and residents that reside within Public Improvement Districts. They are hiring a Financial Analyst Manager to oversee the quality, performance, and productivity of Accounting Analysts.
The Financial Analyst Manager will perform tasks related to accounting, banking transactions, reconciliations, record keeping, quarterly reporting, annual reporting, administration, and client relations. They will work closely with management/director to provide support related to more sophisticated and complex transactions.

Focus:
• Review accounting statements, bank/trustee transactions.
• Prepare internal and external trust and bond compliance documents.
• Maintain an organize filing and tracking systems of paper and electronic documents.
• Adhere to strict external reporting and reconciliation deadlines for each project.
• Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with clients.
• Collaborate with internal staff on preparing annual report updates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to Chapter 372, and the Attorney General’s mandate and opinions.
• Supervise, manage and train accounting analysts, including performing regularly scheduled performance reviews.
• Communicate status of (supervisees/direct reports) with management/director.
Skill Set
• 7+ years of experience in government accounting/accounting office, development related financing, tax exempt debt familiarity, municipal policies, and procedures, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead in a fast paced and complex reporting environment.
• Experience articulating job duties and training new employees on overall tasks and project specifics.
• Ability to prioritize and tend to multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to take direction, work independently, and clearly communicate findings to direct reports and management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to formulate questions and apply solutions to complex financial agreements.
• Self-motivated, able to drive projects to completion.
• Advanced practical skills in working with MS Office
• Skilled in the realm of review and analysis.
