Focus:

Lead end-to-end field execution for automation and controls construction, including schedule management, subcontractor coordination, and progress tracking.

Directly oversee installation and commissioning efforts for automation systems on projects exceeding $1M in value.

Ensure rigorous compliance with safety standards and codes; lead safety briefings and enforce on-site safety measures.

Partner with engineering and preconstruction teams to interpret blueprints, manage change orders, and maintain accurate project documentation.

Coordinate with design and BIM/VDC teams to ensure constructability and clash-free execution in the field.

Support client interface during field walks, progress reviews, and punch list resolution.

Supervise multiple crews across concurrent phases including demolition, installation, panel buildouts, and commissioning.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to field staff and subcontractors to uphold project excellence.

Skill Set:

Proven experience in managing automation construction projects from the field, ideally in high-urgency sectors such as data centers, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing.

Demonstrated success leading field operations on individual projects valued at $1M+.

Expertise in project safety, OSHA compliance, and implementing construction safety programs.

Strong understanding of BIM coordination processes, clash detection, and field-to-model alignment.

Ability to collaborate across disciplines including MEP trades, automation vendors, and commissioning agents.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially in fast-paced and schedule-sensitive environments.

Familiarity with construction scheduling software, field reporting tools, and project management systems.

Willingness to relocate to the Atlanta metro and travel frequently to job sites.
