Our client is an international leader in the manufacturing of electronic components. They are hiring a Electrician Field Tech to support maintenance and testing for the engineering team. This person will travel to customer sites to conduct installation, upkeep, transferring, and other activities for electrical equipment within generators.

The Electrician Field Tech is responsible for supporting the internal maintenance team deliver best-in-class service to support the company’s sales efforts. They will also work in preventative and predictive technologies to constantly innovate to meet market demands to ensure the highest quality and return product on the market.

Focus:

• Support service delivery, maintenance, and installations of for electrical equipment within generators.
• Support preventative maintenance efforts. Manage workflow for troubleshooting and repairs, supporting efforts for production and fixes.
• Follow up on orders and reports, deliver quotes, and ensure customer is well-informed on timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and with proper documentation.
• Interpret and create electrical/connection drawings and schematics.
• Develop statement-of-work and technical performance specifications.
• Communicate with customers and develop service contracts for maintenance, aligning schedule with team availability.
• Travel to customer sites domestically.

Skill Set:

• 3+ years of experience as a trade/vocational electrician with a background in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment in an industrial environment. Experience in utilities or electronic systems like at a power plant, is a plus.
• Knowledge or desire to advance skills in power generation, controls, and electrical solutions.
• Proven ability to read and utilize design schematics and drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, electrical, controls, and equipment.
• Ambitious work ethic with the desire to get others engaged in the larger picture goal.
• Customer service savvy with the ability to travel 50% or more to customer sites to ensure satisfaction, proper delivery, and maintenance checks.
Compensation Range: $70K-$100K
