Focus:
Lead diverse initiatives to meet and exceed client expectations as the Director of Surface Water Resources. Engage in strategic business development and client relationship building. Provide project leadership in water resources, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood hazard mitigation, FEMA studies, ADMS/P, sediment yield analysis, river dynamics, transportation drainage, and stream stabilization.
Lead water resources projects, overseeing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood risk reduction, FEMA investigations, ADMS/P initiatives, sediment yield assessments, river dynamics analysis, transportation drainage solutions, and stream stabilization efforts. Conduct rigorous quality control assessments of computer models, floodplain mapping, watershed planning, and hydraulic structures. Foster client marketing initiatives. Manage multifaceted water resources projects effectively. Nurture team growth through mentorship.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and active AZ Professional Engineer’s license. CFM certification required, or the ability to obtain it after start.
Strong organizational and coordination skills to efficiently manage technical work and exceed client expectations. Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing clear verbal and written skills, essential for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
Demonstrated excellence in marketing, business development, and a track record of project acquisition. Skilled in scope development, precise cost proposals, and adept contract negotiation. Effective management of project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for successful execution. Expertise in employee supervision, fostering professional growth, and providing mentorship to support team development. Apply extensive technical knowledge across the project lifecycle to ensure optimal results. Skillful management of project scopes, budgets, and timelines for successful execution.
