Focus:
• Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities through targeted market research, proactive networking, and strategic outreach.
• Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders in the data center ecosystem, including end-users, design teams, and industry partners.
• Oversee and contribute to the preconstruction phase, orchestrating design-build or design-assist proposals to clearly define scope, assumptions, and manage risk effectively.
• Provide strategic support throughout the sales cycle, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and CRM management.
• Collaborate closely with internal preconstruction and operational teams to ensure client expectations are seamlessly communicated and delivered from initial engagement through project completion.
• Develop and refine strategic market plans, positioning the company as a premier solutions provider within the rapidly evolving data center market.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends and innovations, leveraging insights to offer cutting-edge solutions addressing unique client requirements.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in business development or construction management, particularly within large-scale mission-critical projects, specifically data centers.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully sourcing, developing, and maintaining strategic client relationships.
• Extensive expertise in preconstruction processes, strategic planning, risk management, and project execution.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes, driving new opportunities and fostering long-term business growth.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at navigating challenges and identifying strategic solutions in mission-critical construction environments.
