Our client is a prominent financial institution, serving customers throughout the Midwest. To support their growth, they are looking to hire a Credit Analyst to deliver analytical insights of financial institutions.
The Credit Analyst will leverage credit underwriting and analysis skills to assess creditworthiness of financial institutions. They will work to identify and assess risk and report issues/findings to management in a timely manner.

Focus:
• Responsible for assessing creditworthiness of financial institutions, considering risk, and providing recommendations.
• Analyze credit data and financial statements for new and existing borrowers.
• Support the development of in-house credit risk policies in accordance with industry standard practices.
• Review financial risk as they pertain to credit risk models and perform further analysis as needed.
• Gather and map financial data, pull relevant statistics and metrics, and present monthly reports on KPIs.
• Stay continually appraised of status of credit analytics and report to stakeholders.
Skill Set:
• 2+ years of credit/financial analysis experience preferred.
• Credit underwriting background beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, statistics, business, or a related field.
• Experience in documenting business processes and leveraging data modeling and reporting tools (Tableau, SQL, Python etc.).
• Data reporting skills, including data mining, analytics, and statistics.
• Proficiency with financial software such as MS Access and Excel, including V-lookups, advanced formulas, and pivot tables.
• Analytical thinker who is able to work independently and solve problems quickly as they arise.
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills a must. Ability to speak to stakeholders from all aspects from business and add value to decision-making.
