Our client is a leading OEM for telecom/wireless hardware and equipment, including RF components, networking equipment, chipsets, wireless, and IoT/M2M applications. They are hiring a Controller to support accounting and financial activities.
The Controller will handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial activities. They will work with finance and accounting managers to develop budgets and business forecasts, and also assist with developing financial procedures and policies.

Focus:
• Oversee accounting activities, including A/R, A/P, month end close, payroll, banking, tax preparation/audit, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Assist with annual budget planning, reporting, and forecasting. Deliver quarterly/annual financial reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure all major financial deadlines (reconciliation, tax filings, etc.) are met.
• Review internal controls and auditing procedures, presenting actionable solutions for areas of improvement as needed.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP best practices and government regulations.
• Support cross-functional teams like HR and operations to achieve company goals.
• Work with external resources such as bankers, brokers, and vendors to maintain credit lines, complete proper reporting, and ensure favorable terms.
Skill Set:
• 4+ years of experience in finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting in an international environment.
• Experience establishing and improving internal controls.
• Understanding of GAAP, IFRS, SEC, and best practice international accounting policies.
• Advanced proficiency with NetSuite ERP, Excel, and other accounting software.
• Leadership skills with the ability to communicate big picture goals into action items and create buy in from a team.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
