Our client is an established company specializing in concrete restorations and installations. They are currently seeking to hire a Construction Supervisor. As the Construction Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the masonry and concrete teams.

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and leading a team of skilled laborers to ensure successful completion of projects within specified timelines and quality standards.

Focus:

• Supervise and lead a team of masonry and concrete laborers, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and providing guidance and training as needed.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments for the team, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and estimators to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of masonry and concrete work.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and tools required for each project, ensuring availability and proper usage.
• Monitor and inspect work progress regularly, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage, as well as daily project logs and reports.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and high morale among the team members.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

Skill Set

• 7+ years of experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in masonry and concrete construction, with a focus on concrete restorations and installations is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of masonry and concrete techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project goals.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
