An elite real estate development firm with a fast-growing construction division is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Development Engineer to join their team. This is a pivotal opportunity for a driven engineer to contribute to landmark projects in the high-rise and multi-use space across Texas. As part of a nimble, high-performing team, this individual will take on some of the firm’s most ambitious urban developments—valued at $100M+—including towers currently under construction and in design. If you have deep technical experience in complex, high- rise environments and thrive in a dynamic setting, this could be your next big move.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-ground engineering leadership for multi-phase commercial construction projects, from planning to execution.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP consultants to ensure high-rise building system integrity.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, ensuring alignment with project goals and schedules.
• Assist project leadership in cost tracking, procurement, RFIs, and submittals.
• Leverage past experience on major development projects ($100M+) to support timely decision-making and risk mitigation.
• Participate in site walkthroughs, system checks, and milestone inspections.
• Support superintendents and PMs with engineering challenges related to vertical construction.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or civil engineering with demonstrated success on high- rise or mixed-use projects.
• Proven background on at least one or two large-scale construction projects, ideally $100M+.
• Strong technical skills in interpreting and applying building systems design.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across small, focused teams.
• Bonus if you have prior experience in lean project delivery or fast-track schedules.
