Our client is a well-established law firm with over 65 years of service to the state of New Jersey. They represent a diverse range of clients, including corporations, small businesses, financial institutions, and more. They are looking to hire an associate-level Commercial Litigator.

The Commercial Litigator will leverage their background and knowledge in commercial litigation to provide legal expertise and administrative support for a range of businesses and clients. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity!

Focus:

Handle a caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other commercial disputes. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Communicate with clients and opposing counsel. Assist senior attorneys with complex commercial litigation matters. Facilitate communication with clients and provide status reports. Support general assistance in the operations and strategy of the law firm.

Skill Set:

3-5 years of commercial litigation experience. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school. Active license to practice law in New Jersey. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and ability to multi-task, moving from case to case. Passion and eagerness to advance in the legal industry, with a team orientated mindset.
