Our client is a civil engineering firm offering multiple amenities for land surveying and construction management services, with a focus on cutting-edge tools and personalized solutions tailored to each client’s needs. They are looking to hire a CAD Drafter to join their growing team.

The CAD Drafter is a key member of the engineering team, with responsibility for product designs and various projects in the public and private sectors. They will collaborate with a team of civil engineers and PMs to provide outstanding engineering designs and construction documents.

Focus:

Develop CAD designs, drawings, plans, exhibits, and maps under the guidance of the engineering team and project manager. Complete construction drawings for land development, commercial buildings, roadways, and water management projects. Make calculations as necessary. Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D, a drafting software to produce precise annotations and redline drafting for plans with a high level of accuracy. Update, revise, and scale designs as necessary according to client feedback. Work with other internal teams to get designs approved and executed. Adhere to industry and company-defined standards for design.

Skill Set:

2+ years of experience in generating design and drafting blueprints for land development initiatives. Experience working with engineers or civil-related construction is preferred. Proven technical expertise in Civil 3D required. Committed worker with the ability to excel in a challenging, results-driven atmosphere. Detail-oriented with the capability to complete multifaceted workflows. Capable of delivering high-quality and accurate work on time. Excellent organization and verbal/written communication skills.
