Our client is seeking a Business Finance Consultant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Online, possess a strong background in small business financial management, and demonstrate the ability to create and streamline financial processes and procedures. In addition to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data in QuickBooks Online, you will collaborate closely with the finance team to prepare various financial reports, provide training and guidance to team members, and assist in budgeting and forecasting. This role also involves identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records, staying updated on QuickBooks Online and accounting standards changes, and supporting year-end financial audits as required.

Focus:
Review and reconcile financial data in QuickBooks Online to ensure accuracy and completeness. Develop and implement standardized financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate closely with the finance team to prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide guidance and training to team members on QuickBooks Online and financial reporting best practices.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial records. Stay updated on changes and updates to QuickBooks Online and relevant accounting standards. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes. Assist in year-end financial audits as needed.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred). Proven experience working with QuickBooks Online, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of small business financial management. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
Ability to create and document financial processes and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support team members. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
