Our client is a renowned leader in the concrete industry, offering specialized solutions for both residential and commercial projects. They are currently in search of a Business Development Representative to spearhead their growth initiatives and solidify their standing in the construction sector.
The Business Development Representative will be a key player in driving new business and fostering long-term relationships within the construction community. This role demands a proactive approach to sales, a deep understanding of the construction industry, and the ability to articulate the company’s unique value proposition effectively.

Focus:
Participate in sector-specific gatherings and in-person discussions to build and sustain robust relationships within the building community. Leverage the Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform to monitor potential business, interactions, and growth opportunities. Adeptly manage a schedule to maximize sales activities. Adopt a high-volume approach, displaying commitment and perseverance in meeting revenue objectives.
Utilize your industry insights to pinpoint viable leads and opportunities, and build strong client relationships. Professionally articulate the organization’s offerings and unique selling points. Conduct targeted outreach to broaden the organization’s customer base. Spearhead initiatives to achieve and maintain top-tier supplier status in the sector.
Skill Set
Demonstrated knowledge of building processes and materials, with an emphasis on specialized construction techniques. Prior experience in field sales, ideally within the building or construction sector. Exceptional relationship management abilities and effective communication skills with prospective clients and collaborators. Proficiency in using CRM and schedule management software.
Self-sufficient work ethic, with strong problem-solving capabilities. Experience in managing customer interactions throughout the sales lifecycle, from initial contact to deal closure. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with frequent travel.
