They are currently on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to propel their growth trajectory, with a primary focus on military applications and potential outreach into medical technology sectors.
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in identifying and securing novel business opportunities in the RF filter arena. The role necessitates a seasoned professional with a compelling technical foundation and a well-established network within defense and engineering sectors.

Focus:
• Utilize an active network within defense and engineering entities to pinpoint and secure lucrative opportunities in the RF filter domain.
• Provide strategic insights to guide the company toward becoming an approved vendor at pivotal customers, ensuring consistently high vendor ratings.
• Manage and mentor manufacturer’s reps and international agents, aligning them with the company’s strategic sales objectives.
• Steer the sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure, positioning the company as a preferred vendor in RF filter programs.
• Collaborate effectively with internal engineering teams to ensure that proposed solutions are in alignment with client specifications and requirements.
• Strategically increase business volumes and achieve sales targets by managing both run rate and project business effectively.
• Establish and grow strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure mutual long-term success.
Skill Set:
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Business discipline preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the high-reliability RF filter sales domain, preferably in the US.
• Holds an existing network of engineers and specifiers within pertinent entities in the defense industry.
• Technical proficiency in RF Filters, with the capability to engage in authoritative discussions with customer and internal engineers.
• Proven success in managing sales volumes of $10M+ and handling high-margin opportunities.
• Proficiency in a second language and experience within international defense industries are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and high proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Willingness to undertake travel, at least 50% of the time.
