We are seeking an Associate Director of Quality Control to coordinate corrective and preventive actions, non-conforming material investigations, and internal/external audits, ensuring compliance to regulations, standards, and internal procedures. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement activities for quality systems.

Focus:
Quality Control Coordination: In the role of Associate Director of Quality Control, you will take the lead in coordinating efforts related to Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, Non-Conforming Material investigations, and both internal and external audits. Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal quality control procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Provide vital support for continuous improvement activities within the quality systems, identifying areas for enhancement and growth. Data Analysis: Regularly analyze and provide updates to senior management regarding trends and insights emerging from the areas of CAPA, non-conforming material investigations, and audit findings. Training and Development Oversight: Oversee training and development activities within the quality control team to ensure a well-prepared and knowledgeable workforce.
Skill Set:
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in a biological or diagnostic research (IVD) environment. Strong background in technical writing, with a history of preparing reports, SCARs, CAPAs, etc. Molecular Testing: A solid understanding of molecular testing methods, including PCR, microarray, and DNA extraction. Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of medical regulations and industry standards relevant to diagnostic products.
Quality Management: Experience in managing and improving quality control operations and processes. Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams and implementing quality control measures. Scientific Background: Strong background in applied chemistry and/or molecular biology. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
