Focus:
Lead and coordinate production activities within a high-volume, detail-critical assembly environment.
Manage and oversee supervisors and production staff across multiple shifts, ensuring consistent output quality and on-time delivery.
Align production schedules with supply chain, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to meet customer deadlines and resolve production bottlenecks.
Monitor and improve team productivity and performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to compliance, safety, and quality standards across all production lines.
Track and minimize material waste, investigating root causes and partnering with quality teams to implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with inventory and procurement to manage raw materials, maintain stock levels, and process end-of-month counts.
Facilitate ongoing coaching, training, and performance evaluations for direct reports.
Enforce escalation protocols for missed deadlines or quality deviations.
Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
7+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in a high-security, regulated, or specialized product environment.
Proven expertise managing large teams (50+ employees) across multiple shifts.
Strong analytical skills to interpret production data, manage inventory systems, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology experience is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead with integrity, drive accountability, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
