They are hiring a 3PL / Logistics Program Director to oversee daily operations of the logistics services programs and clients and provide leadership.

This individual will focus on implementing and maintaining procedures that ensure logistics program management success. They will utilize their logistics expertise and program development procedures to guarantee project success, satisfy client needs, and support new opportunities.

Focus:

Lead the planning and implementation of third-party logistics program management by working cross functionally with internal and external teams to drive development. Understand client objectives and incorporate into program service goals to achieve customer commitments and growth expectations. Manage existing logistics and 3PL services connections; evaluate new clients’ unique business and technical needs to develop program goals. Develop timelines, budget, teams, and plan for given project. Ensure high quality work is produced and verify it meets SoW requirements. Set and monitor KPIS and SLAs, conduct performance reviews, and evaluate program. Actively determine and manage potential issues by partnering with internal departments to resolve them. Prepare and present monthly reports and business reviews to the client as required.

Skills:

3+ years of professional experience in third-party logistics and program management. Strong background in developing new programs and project scopes. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or relevant field required. Project planning certifications is a strong plus. Technical understanding of supply chain and logistics services (3PL) practices, including but not limited to logistics 3PO service providers, reverse 3PO, and reverse logistics. Proficient in ERP and WMS systems, Microsoft Applications (Excel, Visio, Project). Experience with ERP and WMS systems; NetSuite proficiency is a strong plus. Demonstrated experience developing KPI and SLAs. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines effectively and efficiently. Must be highly motivated, adaptive, and work well within a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable delivering presentations to C-level executives and high-profile clients.
